New Years Resolutions

I have 2 New Years Resolutions this year....

1. Learn how to actually work my Canon Rebel camera. This camera has so much potential yet I have had it for nearly 3 years and still no idea how to work it!

2. BLOG! Ive been holding out blogging until my dear husband got our website up and working but apparently we have been alittle busy and nothing has been accomplished on it. So, instead of making excuses, I figure no better time than now, a brand new year, to start documenting The Story of Us.

(ps. aren't you thrilled that 'loosing weight' isn't part of my resolutions?? I might actually be able to not fail this year :P)

Its been SO long since I have blogged I don't even know where do start??

During the summer we moved! And not just around the corner either, 200 miles from everything we have always known to be "home" and "normal". Our new home is in Columbus, Ohio. The transition was... well.... fine. The girls did amazing, which proves to me even more, its not what they have its who they are with. For Rick and I, it was ok. Rick had already been coming to Ohio, Monday - Thursday for nearly 7 months so he of course was thrilled to finally have his family home with him every night. Which leaves me. I think that the move was probably toughest for me. It was so hard trying to figure out what to do with the kids and finding my way around town. I tried so hard to find things that felt normal for me but just didn't have much luck. But, the hardest part, leaving our friends! I (the kids do too!) have so many wonderful friends back in Michigan that I spent alot of time just missing them and feeling sorry for my morning sickness self (more on that....). Now that we have lived here for alittle over 6 months, we have friends again! Which is really nice and it helps to make this feel more like home now! Also, the big girls are now in preschool which has been great for them and me to make some more new friends! We have really enjoyed it!

Morning sickness you ask? Yup, that's right! In April, we will be welcoming our FOURTH daughter into this world. Her sisters are absolutely thrilled.. as well as Mama and Daddy! I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with only 82 days left. I can hardly believe how fast this pregnancy has gone! Little Miss does have a name and we will be keeping it a secret until her big arrival. We are counting down the days until we get to see her cute little face :)

Stay tuned for a post with lots of pictures! :)
