Ben and Lainey were three hours shy of sharing a birthday. He was so excited to potentially share that special day of his with one of his sisters but it just didn't happen like that. In all honestly, who would want to share their special day?! Exactly. That is just one example of how amazing of a brother he is! But, its nice (and overwhelming and exhausting!) to celebrate two days in a row!
Prior to their birthdays, we had Grandma Nancy and cousin Andy come visit us for a couple of days. We spent some time visiting and also checked out the Columbus Zoo with them one of the days.

On August 2nd, Ben turned 9 years old. How he is 9 years old, I have no idea! It feels like just yesterday I was holding his hardly 5 pound little body. We didn't have any set in stone plans for his birthday so we just kinda hung out and he played his new DS games, so of course, he was thrilled. Didn't help that the weather wasn't all that great.
When Rick got home from Rick we all headed to Steak n Shake for dinner. We all left with to-go shakes. Mmmmmmm!!!

We had a quiet morning as all the girls enjoyed playing with Lainey's new toys.
Grandma and Papa made a quick trip to visit with the Birthday Girl. I wish I had pictures of the rest but this is where I forgot about the camera; Ill have to copy some off my Moms. But, lots of fun was had by all!!
